Open Invitation to Harm Reduction Trainers

The Institute at Harm Reduction Coalition is inviting advocates, activists, and service providers working in the fields of harm reduction, gender issues, youth work, and more to train with us.  We are looking for trainings that connect these issues to drug user health and harm reduction strategies/philosophy.

We are particularly interested in the following training topics:

· At-risk youth and substance use

· Steroid drug use from a harm reduction model

· Transgender issues and harm reduction

· LGBTQ communities / MSM and harm reduction

· Women, addiction, and trauma

· Methamphetamine users

· Intersections of sex work and substance use

· Drug pharmacology 101

· Case management of active drug users

· Mental health issues and drug use

East Coast based consultants, please contact Amanda Harris, Training Coordinator, at harris@harmreduction.org  / 212-213-6376 x 17

Please feel free to pass this on to any colleagues who might be interested in offering training at HRC.
